It is sad that people would take advantage of the generosity of the great community of the metro-east through faking an illness for financial gain. We actually served the family that has been in the news at our Affordable Christmas event because that is what we do. We hear of needs and we respond plain and simple. You havent helped too many people if you havent been taken advantage of is what i always say. I would encourage everyone to keep responding to the needs of those around you, keep loving people because thats what makes our community so great. The Scripture calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves Mark 12:31
