It is sad that this country became a Republic by men who lied, cheated and stole from the indigenous nations that were here first under the guise of Manifest Destiny. Yet, here we are and no one is immune from the consequences of where we as a nation will be in the next few years unless we join together and put a stop to the insane legislators who run the government both locally and in Washington DC. Both major political parties are complicit; as most of us are because, we voted for them. Thomas Jefferson said in 1802: I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. truth-out.org/opinion/item/20307-hope-in-the-age-of-looming-authoritarianism
