It is sad the way some Muslims express their inner hatred that reflects their sick minds. This is not from Islam and they are a disgrace to it! When we read some of the comments of extreme salafis, takfeeris or super Sufis, you realize how far these people are from the Quran and the Sunnah! When you differ with someone, you shouldn’t be abusive or use insults as you speak! This is not the way of the Prophets with disbelievers, let alone with other Muslims. In Surah Maryam, Ibraheem addressed his kafir father 4 times with: O my father! In Surah Hud, Noah called his kafir son by saying: O my son, embark with us. In surah Yusuf, Yacoob addressed his sons after what they had done to Yusuf with “My sons”. Yusuf himself addressed them as “my brothers”. We don’t find any sense of harsh words or offensive rhetoric especially when you study the hadeeth of our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam. Then, where did these people get such bad manners? The only justification would be that their scholars and elders have used the same language before with them and failed to discipline them. The sad thing is that others may think that they represent Islam and that this is what Islam advocates. Therefore, we must defend our beautiful religion and advise such individuals not to tarnish Islam’s reputation by their behavior and lack of ethics! Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem
