It is so important to remember that you are a weapon when driving a car. You are pushing hundreds of pounds of metal and when you arent obeying the rules and paying attention to the road you are personally make a decision to possibly end someones life. Rules of the road are meant to keep people safe. Regardless if you are late or just in a hurry to be somewhere, you are putting someones life at risk. Im saying this because of the countless drivers Ive seen being wreckless. In a neighborhood, its 15mph so you can have time to react to a child running out out to the street for a ball, etc. Ive seen 4 people this week going at least 40mph through my neighborhood and not stopping at the sign and dont even check to make sure there are no children around. Please, please be safe when driving and remember you arent invincible.
