It is the Lord who maketh His Elect righteous Romans 8: 33, 34 - Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, or rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Jesus in His preaching spoke of many called and few being chosen. Most people think this many refers to the people of the world and the few are the Christians who accepted Christ; that is not true. The scripture does not say all by says many, many is a subset of all. Yes the message of hope and salvation is for all of mankind but God knows who will and who will not accept His message of hope and salvation and who among them will really follow Him. Those who accept the message (believe in Him) get counted into His flock but one should remember His flock consist of both sheep and goats. The sheep are those who dedicatedly follow His Word and the goats are those who believe in Him but yet do their own things. Bible says those who are not in the flock are already judged that means they automatically go to Hell where they suffer their sins. It is those who are in the flock are the ones who stand before the throne of the Son of Man (Jesus Christ - He will not judge us as God but as man, by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word). The sheep will then be separated from the goats, the sheep will go to Heaven and the goats will be punished more than those who rejected the message of hope and salvation. The goats will be punished not for their sins (since by faith in Jesus Christ their sins are forgiven) but they shall be punished for rejecting the Word and the Spirit (that is why only those baptized / immersed in Jesus Christ and His Spirit are the only ones who get to enter Heaven). Those who found abiding in the Truth (Fruit received from the Holy Spirit) will be covered with Righteousness of the Son (Fruit received from the Son) and get to enter Heaven and be part of the Body of God the Son (wedding) but before that they will receive the Fruit of Holiness (Fruit received from God the Father). Now one may wonder where do these Elect stand, do they count among the sheep? Yes the Elect are among the sheep but yet they do not stand to among the flock that is judged before the Throne on Judgment Day and that is what todays message also says. One may wonder how? It is important to understand the Chosen ones of God or the Elect. They are numbered and Bible says not one of them is lost. They are the ones who did not choose God but God chose them even before they came to know Him. They can be confused with the larger sheep lot whose names are already written in the Book of Life yet there is lots of distinct difference between the lots. The book of Revelation explains the Elect as being the Frist Resurrection and the Angels that come with the man Jesus Christ to finish Satan and his army (Paul . This happens before the Judgment Day and before those in the Grave (those who have believed and are asleep in the Lord) resurrect. In todays message the Lord says those who are in the first resurrection which refers to the Elect are already made Righteous (means Justified) by Him, therefore they do not stand before the throne. As I studied this there were many questions that came to me and am sure you too would have, for example Bible says there is no partiality in the Kingdom of God, Jesus too loved all the same and sacrificed Himself for all (His flock), the Good Shepherd does not differentiate between His sheep but leaves the flock and goes in search for any lost sheep etc... But as I studied more on the Inner-man / Heart I started to understand this. One may think it would be a great privilege to be one of the Elect, but believe me when I tell you these do not live a life on this earth for themselves. These are not the regular army cadets but the commandos who go through rigorous training day in and out. It is through this that they are created anew and made righteous by the Lord. And in todays message one of the many prime reasons of Gods choosing people is given. The scriptures say “It is Christ that died, or rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us”. It says God does not look at the past but at our future. We may be the worse lot of people and shameless like Jacob let God dares to call us Israel (Prince of God / Sons of God) like He called Jacob. When He sees us He sees what we will develop into and not what we are or what we were. So these Elect are the masterpieces of His work, people who allow Him to do His best in them. In Revelation these Elect are linked to the 12 tribes of Israel even though these tribes do not exist, for they are connected to the actual meaning of the tribe similar to the basis of Jesus choosing His twelve chosen disciples and these in turn symbolically continuing it later in Acts. To understand them closely one needs to understand the Heavenly Army (Body) of God the Son. Some may think we should pray for these Elect (like some Christians pray for the Saints), that would be foolish. Bible tells us to pray for Jerusalem and no place tells us to pray for Israel. We can and should pray for the ones who need help; those who walk in and out of the Lords shelter and not for those who are totally in the Lords control for the Lord protect them and they rule with Him (enforce His Law). Let us just thank the Lord for His Elect for this land will not perish and evil will not overwhelm mankind until each and every one of them pass through (the last lot are the ones who rapture and Bible say in the last days there will be many of the Elect). [Prayer Starter] Lord we thank You for You have chosen worthless man for the greatest mission and made him worthy to be part of You in Heaven. Lord we also thank You for the Elect and the things You are doing through them in our lives. We humbly bow and worship You Lord for You indeed are a Righteous God, Almighty in Power and your wisdom can not be measured. You along God know all things and nothing is hidden from You. Time is not a factor for You nor your ability limited but You give the freedom for man to choose and decide His destination. Lord we pray we run this race and never tire and when we fall may your grace multiply and get us on our feet to continue our race... This prayer we make in Jesus Name, Amen. [Reference Scriptures] Matthew 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 20:16 - So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. Matthew 19:12 - For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mothers womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heavens sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. Revelation 20:4-8 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Revelation 7:4,9-10 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. 1 Timothy 5:21 - I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality. Daniel 12:1-3 1 And at that time shall Michael [One who is like God] stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
