It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. One of the most influential people in my life has gone to see the Father, Don Williams. I loved Don. The first sermon I ever preached was on servant hood and he was the framework. He understood that none of this is about us. He did the things no one saw. He was the backbone of our church. He was a friend, mentor and most of all example to all who knew him. I used to see him every Sunday and I would ask how he was and he would say wonderful just like you, that was his outlook. I hope to one day be half the man he was. I know he is in a better place but I am heartbroken. To Ann and the rest of the family, you too are a great group and Ann you are so special. I pray you peace in this difficult time. I am here for you in any capacity. Thank you for sharing Don with each of us. To the rest of us, lets learn from Dons example and live our lives to be Christlike. Love God first, love each other and make disciples, Don did that. What a great man! God bless u all!
