It is with a heavy heart that we advise of the sudden passing of our friend and much-loved group member, Kerrie Davies, after an accident at her home in North Ward yesterday morning. Kerrie was a positive, active person - dusting herself off when the chips were down and always looking to improve her life. She took advantage of the lovely area she lived in, often walking the Strand for fitness and she was studying a Certificate in Aged Care with a view to gaining employment in that field. She was a very active member of the group with an easygoing personality that enabled her to strike up a conversation with anyone. Not one to sit still, Kerrie loved her dancing and most weekends would find her on the dancefloor, whether with a partner, a group or by herself, she didnt care! She would always be dancing, laughing, chatting and just loving and living life. Her presence will be sorely missed. Our hearts are with her family at this sad and difficult time and perhaps this is a sober reminder of what is important in life - family, friends, love and laughter. Be kind to each other.
