It is with much sadness that we announce that Ross Hall passed away last Thursday. We knew that Ross had been unwell but his death has come as a sudden shock. Ross was a long standing member of the club (joined 1998) and over that time many of us have had the pleasure of his company either on a trip or at any of the other club gatherings. Ross led many trips that were well planned and interesting. He knew the ranges and tracks north of Brisbane very well. If he wasn’t leading a trip he was assisting someone else or acting as a mentor. He was good humoured and always willing to help out where he could. He was a great contributor to our club. We will miss him. We extend our sincere condolences to his children Wayne and Julie and their families. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Ross’ funeral will take place on Friday 8th November at 11.30am. It will be a simple service at Traditional Funerals, 636 Morayfield Rd, Burpengary.
