It just occurred to me that I rarely share anything personal on this page.. its usually all business. So, in an effort to mend that, I am going to share one of my all-time favorite songs. Im listening to it now and it is making me miss the beach and living there. I miss the salty air.. the palm trees.. the cries of the seagulls... and the sunsets. Most of all, I miss the calmness that I get from sitting in the sand and looking out onto that massive body of water. That beautiful ocean. So fragile and so forceful all at the same time. One of the most peaceful feelings I think anyone could ever experience is sitting on the beach during a sunrise. Everything is so quiet and still. The morning light casts a blue tinted glow across the sand and it is such an ethereal sight. Ive lived on both the Gulf of Mexico and the Southern Atlantic. I love both of them equally. They will both be a part of my soul always.... and my soul will always ache to be near them. Didnt mean to turn my attempt to share something personal into a nostalgic whimper. Lol. However, I really do miss the coast. I dont know if anyone can understand this or not... but sometimes your spirit really does mourn. The coast is what my spirit mourns. Until the day that I live there again....
