It seems like lately i see so many things dissing skinny people, like summer isnt for size 0 anymore and the ecard saying if youre a size 0 then you have the body of a 12 year old, and arent a woman. ugh. Since when do annonymous people of the internet get to decide what size makes you a woman, what size men should want, who is too skinny and who is too fat? its already hard enough for women/girls to feel comfortable in their own skin as it is, do we really need to add to it for the sake of likes and shares on facebook? Im a size 0 and couldnt gain weight if i tried, does this mean i may never get to be a woman? i dont think so. I guess im just ranting but this really bothers me. I can pretty much promise that every woman out there looks in the mirror and sees something she doesnt like whether its the shape of her body, her hair, skin, boobs, butt, ect.. so why do we put so much pressure on eachother to look a certain way that society considers perfect? I especially feel sad for the young girls today. Were teaching them, and ourselves, that you arent beautiful unless someone else tells you that you are. Why cant we tell ourselves that we are beautiful, and believe it?
