It seems only fair for me to mention that when I receive an adoption application, I do some research. One of the things I look at is criminal records. I dont much care about your traffic tickets, but if youve been convicted of domestic abuse, for example, you have no chance with me. Another thing I look at is the public part of your Facebook page. I dont care how you feel about your job, or how you dress your children. I dont even care if you wear silly hats. But if youre publicly calling for genocide Im not likely to want you to have one of my birds. I do care what kind of of human you are, and I do get to make that call.
