It seems that many of the black men and women who are educated in the context of larger white schools are overly critical of the black church. I wonder if these newly enlightened men and women who are entering the world of ministry for the first time ever consider how their abandonment of the black church contributes to its dysfunction. I also wonder if the riches of their flight into white superiority has afforded them the peace they needed to sleep at night? It seems that since the deficiencies of the black church are apparent, perhaps those men and women who have graduated to a coveted level of preparation would consider that there are some of us who still struggle through the black church experience NEEDS your help.
