It seems that the word on the street is that a visa for Iran is no longer possible for Brits travelling indepently, only on an expensive organised tour. A bit gutted as id been looking forward to Iran. I will try to get one still, but if not I might have to take a ferry across the Caspian Sea from Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan.
