It took a WQ contest involving confessions of bad behavior for my crazy girl to win big! Heres my Fionnlaghs winning entry confessing to locking me out in the freezing cold one night in my pajamas. I made the mistake of going outside to check on something in the middle of the night without a phone only to turn and be faced with a goofy, grinning wolfhound looking at me through the glass as she jumped and locked the deadbolt. I wasnt sure how I was going to get out of this one and briefly considered just how cold it would be to spend the night with the chickens. I have a stockade fence with a giant metal gate that is hard to climb even when I have shoes on, let alone socks. After scaling the gate (and seeing my life flash before my eyes from the top) I made it across the street to my neighbors house so I could wake them and ask for my spare key. Theres something especially embarrassing about confessing your dog locked you out while in your PJs. My silly girl was obviously proud of her funny trick by her excited behavior when I found my way back into the house. Winning me a warm hoodie certainly makes up for locking me out in the freezing cold! Thank you to everyone who voted!!
