It touches my heart that there is again another case of people found in their home, who have died YEARS earlier. Now there were 63 year old twins found in their home, still in the recliner, from 2011. These are people with families. This case isnt up North, where we try to console ourselves that people arent friendly like here in the South. This is in Chattanooga, TN. Even the post office had put a note in the mailbox, believing this to be a vacant home. They knew something was wrong, but apparently their sister and neighbors didnt. What in the world is happening with people? Is there no yearning in their hearts any longer to wonder about someone? Just to want to pick up the phone and talk with them again? Check on them? How do people become so isolated that they can remain years, with no one in the world taking a minute to see about them? The last time I heard of this, the lady was still in her car in the garage from many years before. Only after her money ran out in the bank, and drafts werent paying for bills, did they begin foreclosure and find this pour soul. Thank God, for limited money. Years of record breaking hot weather, cold weather, Thanksgivings, Christmases and no one was really checking. The world is reaching a sad, sad state. And it breaks my heart..........
