It truly amazes people about the our weather below the Niagara escarpment and the lower Niagara River. Our patterns from the Lewiston Bridge taking a straight line to Wilson can be completely different than what is happening in close proximity around us. We can be 5 to 10 degrees warmer in the winter or cooler in the summer than even Lewiston here in Youngstown because of the Lake effect on our beautiful Village.
