It was 34 years ago today John was Gunned down in front of his New York City apartment building... so in the best tribute I can think of Im gonna start with his first solo album that I know of, while still with the Beatles...Live In Toronto with The Plastic Ono Band, a quickly thrown together group of guys-literally put together in about 3 hours on a plane yet! Eric Clapton was one of the band members, after his band Blind Faith disbanded earlier that same year.The concert was a benefit show for mentally and physically challenged kids throughout Canada, as was the live concert at Madison Square Garden in 1972 done for American kids. The only Beatle album that will be played is Let IT Be which will lead us into 1970 and The Beatles last album as a band...how ironic is that. So I hope yall enjoy the tribute and I know that John is just following the sun...Let It Be is next but after that, its all solo John Lennon. Sort of a musical Chronology.
