It was a year ago today that I lost one of the most wonderful people God put on the face of this earth. I was blessed enough to be able to help take care of and spend everyday of him for a month. We never left his side. I take some comfort in knowing that he is with God and watching over us all the way he always did. There isnt a day that goes by that he isnt on my mind, and the tears fall. It feels just like yesterday. No, it hasnt gotten any easier at all. It has gotten harder. Yes, I remember the good times and they we so numerous and I know that makes it harder, not easier. He was the shining example of what a husband, father and friend is supposed to be. He will always be in my everyday thoughts, and it will hurt. I know that someday we will all be back together again, but until that time I will continue to miss you dearly. I love you daddy!
