It was an all-American podium finish for the 25-lap Preliminary Feature on night one/Round 4 of the World POWRi Midget Championship at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway tonight (Jan 25). Following a qualifying time that left a lot to be desired and a sedate run through the heats, #USA39 Bryan Clauson stole the show and took the chequered flag on-song in first place. #USA2 Christopher Bell worked his way up from mid-pack and raced wheel-to-wheel with Clauson for several laps before the final restart with 2-to-go then got caught up in the rough. Bell finished a strong second ahead of #USA91 Darren Hagen who led the race until Clauson caught him with 12-to-go. Full story to follow…
