It was awesome seeing all of you in Louisville this past weekend! Now that the weekend is over, think about your next 3 months. Here is a thought; At its essence, leadership is pursuit. Pursuit of excellence, of value, of results, relationships, service, knowledge and something bigger than yourself...its the pursuit of PURPOSE! Pursuit leads to attainment. What you pursue will determine the paths you travel, the people you associate with, the character you develop and ultimately, what you do or dont achieve. Having a mindset focused on pursuit is so critical to leadership, that lacking this one quality can sentence you to mediocrity or even obsolescence. Remember the emotions you felt as Joe Markiewicz delivered his message this weekend and simplified the pursuit for you. Remember the emotion you felt when Jeff Joiner and Kathy shared about Tim Clark and how you yourself did not want to be a deserter but rather vowed to stay in the fight and pursue a life of purpose and significance, as represented by the picture of a Sunday Morning service with Larry and Alan Leininger on stage at a Spring Leadership.
