It was in Sialkot in 1989. A young 16 year old curly haired little boy,was hit fiercely onto his face by the worlds fastest pacer,he started bleeding profusely, everybody around him was so scared and concerned about him, the kid was in severe pain, swelling around his eyes he was not able to open his eyes properly, any other player would have surely retired and would have gone for treatment but the young fellow stood his ground FIRMLY,and Listened to his inner voice -MAI KHELEGA ( I will play ) ,and he went on to score 57 in that critical condition in that innings,............to have that kind of determination, courage, MENTAL TOUGHNESS, and moreover that passion to play for the country and hunger for runs AT That tender age was simply Unbelievable and extra ORDINARY....... that young curly haired kid was SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR..GREATEST AMBASSADOR of cricket All around the WORLD for the last 24 years... Al ong glorious journey of 24 years from Child prodigie to A LIVING LEGEND has reached its Final destination..........Good Luck Sachin, for ur final TEST...and for REST OF YOUR LIFE
