It was such a momentous afternoon when a bunch of high school kids disrupted the silence of my humble home..they kept on insisting that it was of great urgency that they have to see me..not because they missed me so much..for who could bear to miss a terror..a very strict one..that teacher they would never forget to let them memorize the long poem..The Man With The Hoe..by Edwin Markham.. Amidst the intermittent cries of my 3 month old Apo Andrei ..the two of us were able to come up with a sumptuous meal for them.. True enough, they were at the gate..4:15 earlier than expected..calling my name..never did I tell them that they would cry to their hearts content when they saw the famous chocolate cake in the universe..even the aliens will surely agreed.. It was such an afternoon of laughter, reminiscing some memories..and what struck most to all of us when Cyril Jacildo Waite mentioned how one student during their Speech class delivered a lasting interpretation of the poem..in addition such delivery would convinced the author to say that such interpretation is very awesome..not only giving justice to poetry but its beyond the unexpected when that student emphasized most on these lines...and on his back (emphasized most) the burden of the world.. It was indeed an enjoyable and memorable afternoon..my home is widely opened to welcome all of you..people of no inhibition..with genuine sincerity and profound humility..
