It worries me when people do their own things and call them by what was done in the scriptures. People celebrate the new year on the Gregorian month of janus, the Roman god of the doorway with two heads. 4 months thereafter the same people claim to celebrate the Passover. When one tells them them that the Passover is on the 14th of the first month, the answer one gets is that,We are not celebrating the Jewish Passover. We are commemmorating the death of the Messiah! Why choose E-ster then? Newsflash! A Passover was on the 14th of Abib. Do not call it a Passover if it is not a Passover. This is the same thing as saying people have to TITHE, yet one is never told to give the tithes of what the land produces. Instead people are told to give 10% of their gross salary, whereas no-one was ever told to tithe with money. If we do our own things, let us not pretend that they are supported by the scriptures and give them scriptural names. That is my plea!
