Items Discussed at the 12/9 Shinkendo Meeting: We have two new (well, sort of) officers: Secretary - Rebecca-san Treasure - Rachael-san There are multiple places to advertise ourselves as clubs: -RaiderCon -Customs -Student Org Fairs -Japanese classes We will try to contact the current Japanese language club to see about their status and possible revival. We have started collecting money for swords and dues. $10 for dues and $10 for swords. They can be paid separately and preferably the sword payment soon so we can order them over break. We talked about inviting a Judo practitioner to also instruct us once we get space. We are currently waiting to contact the Murphy center again until after the dance affiliated clubs and classes have their applications in since they have preference. And finally, we would like to practice next Tuesday sometime if that works for everyone. My preference is in the afternoon around 2 but I am flexible.
