Its Friday HOORAY!! Once again I find myself winding down after a long two weeks. I am sitting in front of my computer writing, reading, researching different components for various projects and doing a system restore on a server I have never seen. Any way I am hear and I am wanting to talk about something that is pretty close to my heart. And that is religion. In this funny little world therere are hundreds. Literally HUNDREDS!! Some contain only a hand full of Followers and some have BILLIONS!! Can you imagine that, what a number. Youve probably guess the one I am about to rip on. Yep, Christianity, no surprise there. Inside this gathering of people youll find Baptists, Presbyterian, Catholic, Seventh Day, Assembly of God, Outreach and the list goes on. They all have a basic principal, God is Truth and Be a good person etc. I can rip on all these funny people with there beliefs and practices, but I choose not to. Any way, while working in a cold shed today I was hit with a great and some what painful thought. God has no religion. What a thought. Sure there is a book that tell us all about his word and what he does and how to live etc. But hear me out. The three major religions in the world (Christianity, Jewish, and Muslim) all ,hypothetically, follow the same God. This one god created earth, the moon, stars, anchovies. We humans decided to create little groups (its only human nature) and groups with in groups. Thats all good and true and what not. But it kinda has to stop. The killing in Gods name (And yes I am pointing at you Muslims) has to stop. Its just not the killing, its the constant judging of one another. I have experienced this first hand while applying for a job. Because I was not classified as a christian by a certain authority, I didnt get the job. Because of a Humans interpretation of a book I am out of full time employment. Well a message to you buddy, you missed out.
