Its “Grow Your Tenner” time! Carymoor needs your help to raise donations through the Local Giving on-line Match Funding scheme. While the cash lasts they will match each £10 on-line donation with a further £10 until the match pot of £500,000 is used up. And if your donation is gift-aided it makes your £10 worth £21.55 to us. Just to add to this we are planning to use any donations we receive for an application to the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) scheme. Landfill tax is paid by landfill site operators when they bury waste. Some of this money is then made available for community causes through the LCF. To apply for these funds we need a 10% ‘third party’ contribution, so for every £10 donated we can unlock a further £100 from LCF. A £10 donation can end up being worth £215 to us!
