Its Saturday afternoon here in London - August 30th. Cannot believe its been nearly a week without Facebook and Emails. Its a GOOD THING! try it sometime! My last post was a hurried one as we left Helsinki, I think. We saw the sites of Stockholm too. Our final port was Zbrugge, Belgium. The land excursion took us an hour inland to Ghent where most of the panels are returned/hung in special church there. We then traveled to Brugges where the highlight for me was seeing Michaelangelos Madonna and Child (1505).....the precious one the Monuments Men movie features. We had one last formal night with our special group of eleven ( Karen and I with Evansons, Langs, Godfreads, and all). Another day at sea and the return to Southhampton. What a fantastic journey it has been. Have oh so many photos to sort through! We had something provided by the cruise line telling us wed traved 3,000 + nautical miles which translates to more than 4,000 land miles. Will rest in London overnight and then journey back to MPLS, then Bis by late Sunday. All is well. :-)
