Its Wee Mans birthday next week - he will be six years old. Were having a little party for him tomorrow so Ive been busy sorting stuff out...unfortunately cant do much about the weather so were on standby to go to a local hall...just hoping we can cram the enormous bouncy castle in there!? Im actually feeling quite sad about the whole thing as it dawned on me this evening that Wee Man hasnt been asked to any other birthday parties all year. He has one invite to a birthday party in a few weeks time, from a friend from Wee Mans mainstream school who we still see. His wonderful Mum always includes Wee Man and treats him just like any other little boy. Ive always been one to include everyone in pretty much everything - share the fun and all that. But this year, weve only invited six other children because Ive finally realised that Wee Man doesnt need hoards of children at his party; just the ones he cares about and who still care about him.
