Its a Wonderful Life. Cliché? Disney? Lifetime Family Movie? Maybe all those, but still true. You may be in a phase of your life which could legitimately be described as sucking, but that statement is nonetheless true. If we could all just have that visit from a Flaming Rum Punch drinking 3rd class angel, we would see how important we are to a select group of people, how loved. I come from a history of depressive personalities, something I have undoubtedly passed to my kids. But Robin Williams passing today makes me want to say to them and everyone else, when (not if) you get to a down and depressed time, think what Clarence would show you. What a positive impact youve had on even just one other person. What more good you could do for others, even if never really happy yourself. In this age of instant and constant communication, people tell eachother less than ever. Was Robin (and anyone else) within his rights? Sure he was. But imagine what further happiness and healing opportunities he missed. Anyone reading this who is feeling similarly, please know you are loved. YOU are the most important person to someone out there. YOU can change the course of someones life with one effortless good deed. Dont give up. This ride called life is not always the prettiest, but ride it till the end, dont get off part-way through. How many people had their rides cut short involuntarily? We owe it to them to see this thing through. We owe it to ourselves. RIP Robin. And for the rest of us, lets honor his memory by NOT making the same choice. Thanks for listening. ~ÅÇB~
