Its all over in Macau, China, and Manny Pacquiao has returned to the winning column with a one-sided unanimous-decision victory over Brandon Rios. I had Pacquiao winning every round of the fight, though the official cards were 120-108, 119-109 and 118-110. By the end of the fight Rios face was badly swollen around the eyes. Just as many had predicted, Rios provided the perfect opponent to make Pacquiao look good. Rios showed great heart and attempted to stick to his game plan and fight smart. But ultimately Pacquiao was simply took quick and skilled. There will be some commenting in the coming days about the fact that Pacquiao was unable to finish Rios. Pacquiao has now gone more than four years without a stoppage. His last came against Miguel Cotto in 2009. But in the end, Pacquiao performed well in a one-sided fight against a former world champion. He demonstrated that he remains near the top of boxings food chain.
