Its almost Festive Season, the season to celebrate the years achievements I would love to believe...Christmas and New Years Eve looming. Event organizers and promoters working tirelessly to ensure that they capitalize as much as possible whilst they present what they consider as their level best in terms of their capacity. Therell be this general euphoria in the land...However I would love to challenge each and everyone out there though: Whilst youre dancing, singing, having a good time, rightfully so, theres a poor family somewhere struggling to even have a decent meal. Last year, I decided to identify two families in my neighborhood, which are only known to me...donated a few grocery gift packs and Im doing the same this year, hopefully I can add more to this years gift pack.The impact it had on them was quite overwhelming. It doesnt have to be a lot, something small in our eyes or mind can make a huge difference to the needy. Let this Festive Season be a season of GIVING :) Lets constitute an advocacy of HOPE and POSITIVE THINKING in our own societies we emanate from...Sometimes we focus on ourselves so that we even become oblivious to the known challenges of our own neighbors we grew up with, some of us would be busy popping bottles whilst our own relatives or neighbors are struggling to prepare a decent meal...Some will misrepresent this input by saying Im promoting the dependency theory...all Im saying is that lets focus on the gift of giving since weve been blessed more perhaps...Its a beautiful morning in Durban and I love Mondays...Wishing everyone a productive day ahead #evergrateful #blessed #dreamteam #truestory
