Its always best not to make judgments about other people when you - TopicsExpress

Its always best not to make judgments about other people when you have no idea what their story is. A couple of years ago, a man (that I grew up with and hadnt seen in decades) moved himself and his family in with his parents across the street. I noticed he didnt work, but he was never without his cane. His wife didnt work either. I saw them around the yard all of the time, but I never bothered to speak to them until a few months ago. I then found out that when he became disabled, my old friend was denied disability. He can barely walk He and his wife have a special needs child that has required something like 16 heart surgeries. She requires 24/7 care and nowhere can she go to school in Hamilton County, so he drives her to a special school. They lost their home that he worked for all of his life. His wife buckled under the pressure and her meds are expensive. Since our re-acquaintance, my friend and his wife have been very, very nice to me, offering to fix my car, my HVAC, and have even mowed my lawn for me. They have never asked for anything in return. So the next time you want to make judgments about people, remember that everyone has a story (its not a good idea to listen to gossip). I myself have lost everything more than once, and I still forget sometimes that it can happen to anyone. The sad part is that it can happen to folks who deserve it least, but manage to keep from being bitter, and are always there to help others. Be kind to your neighbors my friends. And remember, someone always has it worse than you do. May God bless you all and keep you safe. :)
