Its amazing how inquiring the human mind is ... There is this group of foreigners that started playing pool recently, they had no skill or idea of the game but started to play out of shear boredom. They speak very little English and are unable to read the rules of the game. Despite all this they spend everyday playing for hours. Needless to stay they improved in the game. They have quickly learned how to make the game difficult for the opponent by playing safe or giving him difficult shots which means they are competitive and have the desire to win. Now I say it is much easier to improve your skills and master the game and winning will be much easier but they chose the route of stopping the opponent from winning ... This is so indicative of the world. Most people dont want to be winners, they just want to stop others from winning.
