Its an incredible display of willful misconduct by the Israeli government. Even more unbelievable is the worlds do nothing attitude. This lack of intervention is a boost to the Israelis callous disregard and inhumane treatment of the Palestinians. Its seen as carteblance to do anything they see fit; a green light of sorts to continue on this reckless enterprise. Not much different to the actions in South Africa until external pressure from other countries forcibly created an atmosphere of intolerance and intervention. Without similar action against Israel the genocide and prevalent hostility towards Palestine will continue unchecked. This is no longer a battle for control of the region but has instead escalated into an outright show of callous indifference, hubris and greed; wanton bullying of an undermanned, outgunned and clearly defenseless group.
