Its been a bit of a scary day today . . . With a few tears also. After 2 night in our local hospital we headed up to starship for what was ment to be a routine outpatients appointment for her hearing . . . BUT in true Aly style . . . This was not the case. We were called up out neurology ward 26A at starship for a urgent consult with our neurologist based on the results from our EEG we had on Friday. Its was a long wait in a busy ward that had me starting to stress and think the worst before getting to speak with our amazing neurologist. Also we have a new rare diagnosis to play with . . . Not the most amazing one but one that we can work with and homely confirm soon. But also of relief from myself . . . Obviously before I let you all know I need to do some research and find out some more information as to protect myself from going crazy. Lucky out amazing doctors let us go home as its my birthday in the morning :) And I couldnt ask for a better present than sleeping in my own bed!!! On the downside we do have to go back for a lumber puncher once the ataxia she has (unable to walk) return so I may be spending my birthday in hospital yet. Hopefully this LP will bring more confirmations to out diagnoses. Thanks for your love and support, Richele and Aly x
