Its been a good day. Not the one we maybe had originally planned but good nonetheless. Michael and I even got to sleep in until 8 this morning (of course we went to bed at 3 and I was up 3 times in the night). It was a bitter sweet morning not having our Mr.B with us but the big boys were certainly distracted. It was a low key Christmas this year with everything else going on and I was worried when I saw how little I did buy this year but did the kids notice? Nope. They were thrilled with what they did get so there is a good lesson for years to come. This Momma came up the hospital to find a very happy, somewhat energetic B! His oxygen is down to 1 litre and I brought a new gtube to change out and so far the leaking is better. He was in a good mood which helps the Momma guilt even a touch. We are working on his feeds and trying to go down on his o2...One can hope it might only be are few more days rather then the week minimum I was thinking last night. Keep sending those good thoughts our way! We had Santa sneak into Bs room last night and leave some lovely gifts for him and his brothers (thank you ACH) and while the brothers were here we had some of our local fire fighters drop off presents all around! The guys were all so sweet and excited to see B open his gift. I think there were five or six in here all at once! I am always amazed at the human kindness in this city. A good friends hubby and brother were two of the guys here (although i didnt get to see them) and she told me they wrapped presents all day yesterday....how wonderful is that? The brothers wore their Christmas jammies to the hospital so that we could get our picture of the three of them in their jammies...making it work however you can! It is a Chinese take out dinner for our Christmas dinner tonight but thats OK. Sometimes new traditions can be made in a pinch. Much love, happiness and joy to all.
