Its been a lovely day! Got up very early this morning when Bonnie and David went to the hospital, but stayed home with Emery and Luke till we got word that Bonnie was about to deliver. It was a comedy trying to finish packing the kids a lunch, finding shoes, loading up the car, setting the house alarm, and heading for the hospital--whew! I thought I would be staying in the waiting room with the kids but the nurse told me to come in, theyd been waiting for me. I didnt realize Bonnie had asked the doctor if they could hold off a few minutes so I could be there for the babys birth! Bonnie immediately started pushing and it didnt take too long for sweet Ada Kathleen to come into the world. Bonnie and David did a wonderful job and I was so happy to be a witness to such a joyful event. Ada is precious and we are all in love! Sarah, Elle and Beck came in from Dallas and theyre keeping us company at home while Bonnie and David spend the night in the hospital. Emery and Luke have been great and are happy to have their cousins here. Thanks for all the good wishes--we are blessed beyond measure. xoxo
