Its been a while since I have provided you an update on Rob Benfer. Its hard to imagine that 12 weeks ago this all started! Thanks to your prayers, love and support Gods grace has kept Robbie with us. Yesterday we learned that Robbie is ready for the next step in his journey to recovery. Robbie will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow and sent to a rehabilitation center in Suffern, NY where he will continuing rehabbing for some time and then will be sent home to wait for a transplant. Your prayers, your love and your support have meant so much and have gotten us so far. We simply cant sat thank you enough. Robbies wall in his hospital room is crowded with cards and letters and pictures from friends and family from all over the place. Thank you for those. I know Robbie enjoyed reading them all. Robbie still has a long row to hoe but with the love, prayers and support he continues to receive gives us all the strength to continue on. We know too that Gods loving, healing hands are on him and will bring him to full recovery. God has heard your prayers and has been so loving and caring and kind to us. Its truly a miracle that we have Robbie with us today. My family and I love you more than you can know and are eternally grateful for all that you have done to help us get Robbie to where he is today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
