Its been brought to my attention that someone apparently spread a rumor saying my accommodations on the ACT allowed my unlimited time. Please let me inform you. This is entirely false. Its insulting to believe someone would attempt to dismiss my already small accomplishment by spreading a lie claiming that it wasnt an accomplishment at all. The accommodation is a result of both testing and many observations by teachers that came to the consensus that I needed a bit more time when testing. It is a result of my inability to focus on account of my AD/HD (many of you know this). This translates to an allowance of time and a half. This translates to about 15 extra minutes per test on the ACT. Anyone who has taken the ACT would agree that this isnt much time. It was enough time only for me to collect my thoughts and finish my tests, of which I finished half of every one prior to the accommodations taking effect, and I still received a 28 even then. Please dont spread info when you dont even know the facts yourself. Thats one thing I cant stand.
