Its been several weeks since we celebrated the new year and chanted the age old prayers. Our tears are many and for good reasons. We continue to see, feel and experience pain and sorrow at many levels- personal, communal local and international. I want to continue to focus on the ability to triumph, the ability of the incredible human spirit to continue to do good, to continue to feel and to love. In the midst of sorrow, yesterday a human chain of teenagers that connected several Israeli towns formed as these precious youth held hands and sang Hatikvah- Hope. Hope- the oxygen for our soul, the blood for our motivation. And we saw and learned this from our children. Truly a display of Triumph in the midst of tragedy. I stand humbled and grateful.
