Its been three weeks now since Dude passed away. Over those weeks, the wonderful feedback so clearly demonstrates how much Dude meant to so many people. So, about a year apart, Ive lost both Gracie and Dude. A couple of years ago, I lucked out with a really good picture of them sitting in the yard close together looking at each other. I wanted to do something special for them, so I ordered a 2x3 poster through VistaPrint. I wanted to make the frame myself and hang the picture on my office wall. The poster came in a few days ago. Using rough hewn cedar board, I constructed and stained a rustic frame over the weekend. Today, I hung the picture in my office. As I looked at them, I could feel their personalities coming out of the picture. Since my birthday is tomorrow, this is my perfect early birthday present to myself.
