Its called Obama wants to make India part of the west to to help shutout China, while also using Saudi Arabian oil powers to finish the Russian state. Its a win for Saudis and for Americans who get a lowered fuel price. Americans are happy because they are getting under $2/gal at the pump, and this in turn has promoted the destabilization of many US competitors/enemies. They are also trying to finish off Putin and crush the Russian economy to bolster their own. This will be especially popular for the US defense business who DESPERATELY desires to usurp their Russian competitors. If the US sells to India it also means better integration and forcing a long-term relationship with India. It will be the next step to bring India into the western chip fan and restricted technologies markets, thereby permitting Indian outsourcing as opposed to China. China has historically been a pain in Washingtons side, whereas India has far stronger potential ties with the west. It may be possible that this will enable India to become a fully western nation economically as South Korea and Japan have become following WWII and the Korean War. Well just have to see how things develop moving forward.
