Its disturbing how many people cross major roads between crosswalks. Last night at 9:00, I was driving north on 41, and between Fruitville and University, there were several people ~ some dragging children along ~ weaving between cars in the dark of night. It is unlit & most were wearing dark clothing. With the speed limit at 45, it makes for a very dangerous situation for unsuspecting drivers, who will not be able to see them until their headlights touch them just before impact. I wish people would make the smarter decision to use the safer crosswalks. Its the same problem on Beneva with the Amish people. They cross a few yards away from the crosswalk...like they are purposely avoiding them. It puts drivers in a tough position. Just had to get that off my chest.
