Its in inhumane how people get treated. I figured Id Share this Sedgwick claims management horror story with you from Barbara Inman. Id appreciate it greatly if we could all put our heads together and give some sort of input to this hurt soul. Please leave a comment and share this post because it truly is a horror story. I have been dealing with this company for almost 5 years they have done more underhanded things I just dont understand. It first started when I was hurt working for the Vancouver school dist. I hurt my back was put through many different things from 3 shots in my back pain meds finally I was allowed to see a neurosurgeon who told me I needed surgery and that I could end up with permanent nerve damage because they waited to long to get me to him, he was right I now have a leg that dosent work they then decided I could go back to work my doctor didnt agree in order for me to go back to work I needed to take a DOT phys, they would not pass me so Sedgwick didnt bother to let the state aware of that fact I got a lawyer at this point I was then fired because I could not perform my job and Sedgwick stopped my time loss when the state found out I was not back at work they ordered Sedgwick to reinstate my claim Sedgwick put appeal after appeal after a year and half we were just about to go to court they dropped the appeal in the mean time I lost my home and went through many finacial struggles Sedgwick then set me up for vocational retraining I am 60 yrs old they wanted me to go to school take a full load of credits for two yrs the college staff told them this was not possible I would not be able to do it I was still in pain working with my doctor I was referred back to the surgeon he said I needed another surgery that was 6 months ago Sedgwick will not ok the surgery they are now saying my injury was just a back strain and this is just olld age so I am now fighting again and living in a lot of pain and they are going to put me in bankruptcy . I worked for my employer for 26 yrs and was fired and turned over to these people that just want me to go away well Sedgwick Im not going away I will fight you right into my grave and I know you dont care , god bless
