Its infuriating when a lady starts dwelling and focusing too much on marriage at a very tender age. It only exposes her and makes her prone and vulnerable to numerous heartbreak. One of the very many reasons we vaguely find virgins amongst young ladies today is because many had been deceived by guys who claimed they would MARRY them, and even when a 16-year-old lady hears this, she tends to immediately cut to the chase and give in. A 21-year-old young lady graduate met a rich dude (who happened to be her 16th boyfriend... Wondering how I knew? Well, she counted them to me and I even know a few of the guys). The lady had to abandon her masters because the guy promised her marriage. Unfortunately, it didnt take long for the guy to disappear, too. 16th guy disappeared, masters disappeared... Oh, what a sad tale. Shes about 25 years now and who knows she might just be on her 67th guy right now? I could recently hear an almost 13-year-old cousin say if only she could find a man who would want to marry her and set her up in business (a girl without breasts on her chest...). I was like, eww... this girl is a bastard o... because that indeed caught me off guard. Ive also seen a 17-year-old secondary school girl update her facebook profile to; In a serious relationship with... She even had the effrontery to tag the name of the guy. (Aye ti baje, ijoba orun ti de). Societal demands, at often times, brings self-destruct. It could pump a lady into a being she might end up regretting she had become. Ive attended a wedding that broke up the same day. The couple were not ready for it. They only had gone into it due to pressure and perhaps, show off, I suppose. Marriage is honourable, but we also must accord it the honour it deserves... It is best when two people are matured and prepared for it and without tampering with Gods plans and purpose for each other. God has laid for you, a sure stone, a precious cornerstone... He that believes will not make haste!(Is. 28:16).
