Its interesting that I hired the law firm of William G. Sayegh in Carmel, NY to help me with a gun permit. I was not aware that the $3,000 retainer fee was an EARNED fee regardless of how much work you did for me which was minimal. Two court appearances to continue (how long does that take? 20 minutes), no research on my behalf, I supplied the research from the FEDS. I was told that I would receive a refund from my attorney. When I called to ask where my refund is, I was told no refund. It was considered an earned fee. When I asked if there was a retainer credit with the firm, again I was told no. This isnt the way you do business people. I will be posting my experience with your law firm on every single Gun Rights page on FB. No one else should be taken advantage of like this by your firm.
