The Truth (14) Man’s refusal to recognize himself We don’t need a long analysis to realize that life on Earth is not paradise. Fortunately there is a consensus that must change. But how? Nelson Mandela told us: “Education will change the world”. Today’s world is still looking at present and future with yesterday eyes, criterions and influences. Second millennium man’s spirit seems to be stationary, immutable, and casted in the past’s foundations. When a corner of the veil lifts up under the blow of knowledge, with stupor and reticence Aquarius’ man, with anxiousness, discover that he is a priman, and that the cornerstone is hidden in the secrets of his double identity, primate and human In 1860, on the last day of the Oxford British Association Congress, on Darwinian thesis, Samuel Wilberforce (1805-1873) bishop of Oxford, England Church, son of the abolitionist William Wilberforce (1759-1853) ironically questioned the naturalist Thomas Huxley (1825-1895) the Charles Robert Darwin’s theory’ supporter, if he comes from a monkey lineage on his father or mother’ side. During that same period, having heard that man comes from primate species, the Worcester bishop’s wife entrust her opinion to a friend: «Coming from a monkey, my dear friend, I hope it’s no true, and if it is, let’s pray that nobody knows it.” So, is man refusal to recognize himself, and yet if man is the most intelligent beings among all others, nevertheless he is too the least mature of them all, referring to the wonderful gifts received. Man, primate, consider himself as human but lives mostly as primate. So, with much perceptiveness John Rostand (1894-1977) wrote:” «Science makes us divine long before we deserve to be known as man”. To reconcile the truth of one being with two identities, primate and human, we must look far away and for long time, dig into the deep past, to find out the answers to the handicap that erect as obstacle to the path for happiness. So, let’s take out our picks for searches and our shovels of thinking and let’s digging in to find out the wonderful, powerful and unsuspected treasure of our true identity.
