Its just a personal opinion: Is that the solution of democrats by disrupting financial hub with sit-in protest? Student strike does really achieve anything? The movement will confront difficulties and conferential action could damage reputation of city. Business leaders and silent majority of HK have already opposed pro-democracy protest saying its risking citys status and criticizing the movement and urging continue disobedience and opposition to Beijing would only damage citys reputation, economy and relationship with china. Beijing is on its way to defends its ruling on election candidacy for HK, claiming Beijing wants to protect board stability now and in future. Also condemned movement as an unofficial referendum. In fact some of the facts of agreement between British and china government should understand by HKers, like in 1984 they had had an agreement to provide high degree of autonomy after handover however they never stated that Full autonomy. Somehow HK legislature must adopt Beijing directive or leave the place. How long do the protesters can stand and on what base? They are finally going to get nothing, and no one can change anything is all HKers should have their mind set. Beijing is not so stupid, its a long term planing and strategy to handle HK was set up in past and will follow the same in future. Even large scale of movement cant force Beijing to revoke its decision. As long as well-organized and peaceful protest goes on Beijing may digest it, however the factor is Beijing does not even care or value western style democracy. Protest somehow began peacefully initially and it has already turned into pepper spry to tear gas state. It is gradually being violent. It will slowly upset central government. Fear out of it is HK police wont be able to control the riot and if PLA engage into it, civil will forget their human rights which provoke and led them to collision. They will be the responsible one for several hundreds mass murder in the name of universal suffrage. Now so-called demoracts, board coalition of HK society, students whoever involved, they should not suppose not having choice but keep on going with protest for their ego. Even activists say there is no room for negotiation and fighting for genuine democracy, whatever effort they make, its not going give trauma to central government rather upsetting sleeping giant. Besides universal suffrage agenda, the concern is how long does democracy live within communism? Rather than this issue HKers must focus on ensuring different agendas for the better future of HKers coming generations prosperity, for the better working environment for better and equal opportunity, and for the better future. Everyday life getting worst and worst because of inflation, increasing low paid wages, high cost of university education, sky rocketing property cost etc etc . Think about secure and good quality education within the reach of every kid without several days queue and full of worry to get enrollment in good school or collage or university. Albert Ho has no more political future for CE poll under Beijing new rule, and under his leadership how long does the student group boycott class? Week, month or academic year? It does not shake or suppress Beijing motives. Central government is willing to displace whole city for a reason and its not a big deal to get ride of several hundreds protestors in HK. HK allies and western world just can do is to take their eye balls out open to watch mass murder and throw some sanction or keep a log into history book for future reference. Specially those under aged (minor) Students participation in protest is unacceptable, leaders are brining them at the front line to fight with their life in the name of Universal Suffrage boycotting their classes for the greeds of politician like Albert Ho... Oh! My my... They are just kids, how could they have political understanding? I wonder those parents who allow their kids for participation, what is exactly in their mind?
