Its normal to see someone cry, and assume theyre sad or see someone smile and assume theyre happy. But my mother is able to see the pain behind my smile and the happiness behind every tear drop. My mother is the truest friend I have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon me; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with me in sunshine desert me; when trouble thickens around me; still will she cling to me, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to my heart. When people ask me how I cope without a sister; I just look at them and say, my mother is my sister. Mrs Rashidat Saliu-Bello, my own angel on earth. How possible is it to play the role of a mother, twin, elder sister and most importantly best friend. Impossible? I doubt. Because my mum does that perfectly. She has given me all I own, taught me all I know. Been my shoulder to cry on. I could go on and on and on. I love you mum. Now and always. On that note, i would like to wish you and all the lovely mothers out there happy mothers day. A Mothers love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible. Iya ni wura.
