Its not Wednesday but my #WCW goes to my ancestors. I want to honor all the African women who endured the acts of violence, savagery, rape, torture, degradation, starvation, murder and suffering at the hands of an enemy unlike any other. The very fact that Im alive is a testament to the sacrifices these women made. The dept I owe them could never be repaid. I owe them my life... I owe it to them to aspire, dream, challenge, grow, love, succeed, triumph... To live a life worth living. These women planted trees knowing they couldnt sit under the shade. I owe it to them to plant seeds in the minds of those who will make change I will never live to benefit from ! I pray I make them proud. I pray I ensure their suffering was not in vein.
